Garde has been engaged by North Sydney Council to underground the overhead power infrastructure on a 300m section of Willoughby Road in Crows Nest.
These works form part of the council’s plan to upgrade the streetscape to revitalise the busy shopping and dining district. The scope of works includes the undergrounding of all Ausgrid assets, removal of existing overhead assets, installation of conduits for streetlight, installation of multi function poles and streetlights, and commissioning of all assets.
The work will be undertaken in consultation with the many business owners on a combination of day shift and night shift in order to minimise interruption.
